Detailed Vendor Information
TAGGING YOUR ITEMS
1. Download the Tag Template. Word DOC - PDF
2. Type your full name on all tags, then make photocopies
3.
Make your tags distinctive (i.e. use coloured paper, mark the tag with stickers/stamps) to make sorting after the sale easier.
4. Briefly
describe your item (e.g. light blue pants with flower print). Circle boy, girl or unisex and the appropriate size range.
5.
PRICE TO SELL. You set your own price. 1/4 to 1/3 of the original price or less for items in good condition is a good rule of thumb. Often, items leftover for donation didn't sell because they were overpriced. Always use round dollars, no cents.
6. Any unsold items (over $20) which you wish returned, should be clearly marked with a red dot. This can be done by filling in the circle on the tag with a red marker or covering it with a red sticker. All other unsold items will be donated to a number of local charitable organizations. Remember, do not place a red dot any item under $20.
7.
Securely fasten the tag, where indicated, to the article using safety pins. For toys, baby equipment and furniture, use tape on both ends of the tag. Place smaller items such as books, shoes and socks in ziplock bags and then tape the tag onto the bag. DO NOT place the tag inside the ziplock bag as this will slow down the checkout.
8. DO NOT put clothes inside of a ziplock bag.
9. DO NOT use string to ties clothes together -- only use safty pins.
8. Only put costumes, coats/ snowsuits and dress clothes on hangers. All other clothes should be folded to be placed on tables. Use a safety pin (not string) to keep outfits together
